March - April

It didn't take much for Emily to convince us that this is a must read for the book club. Veronica has offered to host book club next. It will be April 6th at 7 pm.  She lives in Cedar Hills and will send out directions when it gets closer. Hopefully that will be a good day for everyone. Jeanette, you have been a slacker lately. I don't care if you have a boyfriend or not, I am calling you out on it.  You better be there and have the book read.

January - February Book

It was fun to have a newbie at book club this month. Especially someone who loves to read and comes with suggestions and food. The book for this month is called Prodigal Summer by Barbara Kingsolver. Emily Harris has offered to host next month. It will be on February 3rd at Emily's home. Happy reading!

I believe Emily Harris will be joining our book club this month. We are excited to have her. She is spicy like Katie and she makes me laugh.

Also, I was given a recommendation by my friend Amanda. It is call The Red Tent. Her book club loved it so much that they now call themselves Red Tent Book Club. Has anyone heard of it? Could be good for our next book.

November - December Book

So, last night wa really fun and it was nice to have such a great turn out! I knew we had it in us.

The book for this month is Exile by Richard North Patterson. We will meet to talk about this book on January 6th at 7pm at Amy's place. I will put up directions when I have them.
